I’m originally form Wyoming. I started my radio career at the tender age of 14 at my home town radio station, KASL in Newcastle, Wyoming. I then worked my way through KROE AM/FM in Sheridan, WY and KVOC in Casper, WY (All during the 80s) before making the move to Oklahoma City. My first job in OK was at KEBC. I then spent 9 years at KOMA (I would mention working at a radio station in Georgetown, Grand Cayman, but I was only there for about 5 months before I’d had enough Caribbean Paradise!) Then back to OKC where I worked at KKNG for the first decade of the 2000s! Now I’m in Ada and having fun on the radio again! I’ve been a drummer for as long as I’ve been in radio. Currently I play with a band called Dr. Smith out of OKC and a band called The Regular Joes out of Midwest City.
I am a God-fearing Christian that has lived in Oklahoma since 1970. My family has owned Kentucky Fried Chicken in Ada since the same year. I play drums, guitar, bass, and have sang vocals when I had to, and started playing in various bands in 1977. For the past 18 years, I have played drums at my church in Union Valley. I love all types of music from jazz and blues to country and rock & roll. I love my wife, children, grandchildren, and all of my relatives, LOL!
I have been an Oakland Raider fan since 1969. I was watching a football game with my dad once, and he asked which team I wanted. I liked the Raiders’ patch over the eye, so I picked them, LOL.
My priorities are God, my family, and my job.
